due date

I read this on Cjane's blog. I thought it perfectly summed up how I'm feeling right now...

for the record, I am not always this lazy, just when I grow other humans inside of my body. I am several pounds of useless flesh, a class act in despondency, a No Good. For now, there isn't a large difference in behavior between me and a snail, including the trail of silvery sluggishness. I should be put in a container for the next nine months to pickle in pregnancy. Forget about me, move on.

Baby's due on Jan 17th. Heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time this week. Pretty incredible. We're excited!

Abby is hoping for a girl and wants to name her Rapunzel

Yay for being pregnant and boo for feeling yucky! I can totally commiserate there. This pregnancy the sickness has been so much worse. May your sickness be gone very soon so that you can just enjoy the thought of holding that sweet little baby in January! Congrats to you all!

I feel like I need to remind myself that all the time, "I'm not lazy, I'm exhausted!" Although, I am always amazed at how I get so exhausted when I don't feel like I do anything. :)

two ideas: take your prenatals at night instead of morning. Sleep lots. Ginger ale with real ginger. Okay, that was three, but who's counting:) Hang in there!

One more day, one more day, one more day ... and then, finally, this baby will be 27 years old and you'll be wondering, what happened to TIME? Small consolation, I know. What you're experiencing now is still what I think of as the worst parts of my whole life! Love from Provo!
