My cousin Jannie got some great footage of everyone getting their groove on. I think the highlight of the dancing was when my bro-in-law "G-Money" went to town on the dance floor. Thanks for the happy memories!

Halloween Party Time

This past weekend we had a trunk or treat at our church. Abby enjoyed being a little piggy (as long as she had a sucker in her mouth). We were surprised that she carried around her Elmo pail so diligently. Mike and I are still enjoying all the candy she collected :)








Our friends threw an awesome Halloween party on saturday night. This is the first time Mike and I have dressed up since probably high school. Mike found his old Hamburglar costume he made when he was 16, and it actually still fit him! I went to Walmart and found myself a good pregnant costume - a Whoopie Cushion!
We ate ALOT of good food, played some fun games, and laughed and giggled like little kids.

We also had a pumpkin carving contest. Mike carved the Batman symbol and I carved a smiley bat face.




Jon and Jocelyn won the prize for scariest and most creative pumpkins. It took them a total of 8 hours to carve these 2 pumpkins - the Joker, and Sarah Palin. Didn't they do a crazy awesome job?

Magical Day!

Well folks, the day has finally arrived. This is the day I've been looking forward too since finding out I was pregnant...The day where morning sickness and nausea are a thing of the past. Knock on wood, but I think I'm finally well! I can actually open the fridge without barfing, and change Abby's diaper without holding my breath.
Next up - heart burn, and getting fat!! Yahoo!!! (at least I won't have the pregnancy flu...)

Old Macdonald's Farm

Our ward has little get togethers every so often, and this last activity brought us to Humble (pronounced Umble) Texas. We piled in Jenni's car which comfortably sat 3 adults and 4 kids, and headed down to Old Macdonald's Farm! We had a great time picking out pumpkins, riding the train, seeing the farm animals, playing on the playgrounds, and eating lunch. The weather was actually a little crisp. This is the first time Abby's worn a sweater since living in Texas. This is weather I can handle!

Abby's 18 months!

Hi, I'm Abby. I am 18 months old. I used to be small for my age, but now I'm big due to a steady diet of goldfish, graham crackers, french toast, cheese sticks, and grapes. I can speak my own language fluently, but I also know several words that my parents use like "go", "dog", "ball", "Mamma", "Dadda", "duck", "nose", "eye", "no", "bye", and "hi". In addition to words, I can also do a variety of animal sounds like the dog, kitty, snake, elephant, bunny, monkey, lion, bear, fish, sheep, cow, duck, and chicken (complete with The Chicken Dance).

I still don't have much hair, but I am incredibly adorable. I have naturally golden skin, 12 teeth, and uncommonly large dark blue eyes.

I love Sesame Street! In fact, most of the time I won't even eat unless I'm watching it. I LOVE Elmo and Cookie Monster. They make me laugh. A lot makes me laugh. Most of the things that Dad does makes me laugh. I recently discovered the joy of spinning around in circles and then trying to run. It's funny. I like to jump although I can't really get off the ground. I like to take my little baby doll and wrap her up in her blanket and put her in her little car seat.

My parents are always telling people that I'm the best little girl in the world. I mean, they claim that I'm really, really funny and cute, but I don't see how I'm any different than any other baby my age. I go poop, I cry, I make lots of messes, and I usually sleep from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. with a 2-3 hour nap in the middle of the day just like every other baby. I don't get what the big deal is.

A day at the Farm

Me, Em, Mom, Kids, and friend Mandy and daughter Emma went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. We had a great time, the weather was perfect, and it wasn't crowded at all. The girls loved all the different animals.
