My mom would be proud

My mom gave me a sewing machine for Christmas a few years ago, and I'm sad to say that I've never taken it out of it's box.........until.....today! Yeah! I got together with some friends and we made ourselves some cute aprons. Like I said, my mom would be proud :)

Zoo Time!

We had a fun time at the Houston zoo. Texas this time of year is absolutely fabulous!
Abby loved all the animals, especially the seals and monkeys.








This chimpanzee just stared at the kids, it was funny. Also we learned that Abby doesn't like to pet baby goats.

We finally got Abby's room all done! It was actually Mike who did most the work, I guess watching all those episodes on HGTV really paid off :)
