Abby started ballet class with her friend Julia. I think she was most excited to wear her new ballet shoes. She's having fun and enjoying doing arabesques :)

Labor Day

We had such a fun time spending the holiday weekend with Paul & Shar and Steve & Amy.
The kids got lots of cousin time! The 3 brothers went out to Paul's newly purchased land and shot targets with their guns. They hoped to hunt hogs, but didn't have any luck. Still had fun though.

Birthday Party

Before we left back to Texas my family had a big birthday party for all the August birthdays - Me (the big 3-0!), Macie (turning 6), and Brooklee (turning 2).

My sis-in-law Carolyn made this awesome cake. She made her own fondant and everything. I was really impressed!
