Hello everyone! Just wanted to give you all an update of our situation. We are currently staying in Dallas with Mike's sister Katie. We were very fortunate to have no damage to our home during Hurricane Ike. Some of our neighbors weren't so lucky... We still have no power in our area so that is why we decided to come to Dallas.
We do have some exciting news to report. I am with child! Almost 10 weeks along now. I have been pretty sick which was one of the big reasons we decided to take off. Having no a/c and eating top ramen wasn't exactly making the pregnancy any easier. Anyhoo we are doing well now, and are very grateful to Katie and Jonathan for letting us stay chez eux. Love you all, and please keep the victims of Hurricane Ike in your prayers.

Yeah!! We are only 3 weeks apart, I'm so happy for you. Im so sorry that you are not feeling well that is the worst, I hope you get better soon. i am still really sick and have to see the doctor again today to make sure everything is okay. It will be fun to see all the little babies next summer at the lake. Im glad you guys are safe, talk to you soon.

Yeah for both pieces of news - no house damage and a new baby. You'll love having two, they're so fun. Glad you're safe and I hope you can return home soon.
Jill, Oh my gosh....we are so happy for you guys. Congrats! Abby gets a new sister??? Thats what kept happening in my family!! hahaha Love you guys. So glad you weren't affected by IKE too much. We are praying for those that are affected. Love you guys!!
Jilly, I am so sad that you are sick, but I am so happy you are going to have a baby!!! Wahoo!! Have you tried fire balls? I promise they really worked for me. I just had one in my mouth all day long. If I felt a little nausea coming on I would just pop one in and I instantly felt better. "Hey" to Mike! Squeeze to Abby!
