Our Humble Abode

Hey y'all, just wanted to post some pictures of our home here in Texas. We don't have much furniture yet, but we can't complain - it's nice to have so much space! Abby is in heaven!
So come walk with me, I'll take you on a little tour...

This is our dining room, Thanks mom and dad Thayer for the piano - Jilly is so happy :)

Abby will be our little Vanna today...

Here we are in the kitchen, we are happy to finally have a dish washer and an ice maker! No more little ice cube trays - Hurray! And we are especially glad for Ikea for selling cheap tables :)

We're looking at the living room now, I'll have you know that these couches date back to the early 90's...

Here we are in the master suite, we have your standard queen bed (hopefully we'll be able to upgrade to a king soon!)

and this is our makeshift desk (normally used as a tv stand)

and this is our backyard, which is in dire need of weeding and such. I don't know the first thing about yard work so this should be an adventure...

Our playground set which is home to many a wasp and spider

and here we are upstairs. This is our trusty gate which holds Abby prisoner to the playroom (so mommy can rest easy)

This is where we spend most our day since it is hotter than hades outside.

Let's just peek over the balcony

Next up is Abby's room. We hope to upgrade Abby to a crib, get some curtains, and paint the walls a little more girl friendly color....someday....sigh....

Abby is showing us the upstairs bathroom

and here's the second bedroom (there are no pictures of the guest bedroom because, well, let's be honest, I haven't gotten around to the last of the unpacking yet...)

And now Abby wants to show you Mr. Bear

and her baby...

Hope you enjoyed the tour. Miss you all!
love,
Jilly

Thanks for the tour! Reminds me of when we had a big empty house. Took a loong time to fill it up, and now the challenge is to de-junk. So, look forward to those happy in-between days. Love ya lots. (Abby is so adorable. If I could just have one little hug ...)

Abby is so cute. I love the blue dress that she had on in the previous post. Your house is beautiful too, I can't to move into a house someday. The bigger Morgan gets the smaller our 800 sq/ft apartment seems to be getting.

Hey Jill! What a BEAUTIFUL little girl you have! Love the house, jealous of the space, not jealous of the heat. I lived in Coppell for half of my junior year in high school and graduated from there. Too hot. But I'd like to go back and visit some time!

Take care!!

Jilly,
your house is really cute! and big! and Clean! you would think that our house would be as clean and as organized as yours seeing that we both moved in around the same time. NOT! This house looks like we have lived in it for 5 years! I will regret all the needless unpacking I have done in about 10 months when we will probably be moving again, Yippee! Abby is so cute! I love her stick-up hair! Reese has been letting me put pony tails in and a bow! So it has begun, doing hair for the next 12 years. Say "Halo is so cool" or "HI" to Mike!

OH, I love Texas houses - we've lived there twice now, renting both times, you'd think I'd be over it, but I just love the style - your home looks awesome!
