10 months

Our big O has reached the 10 month mark. He sure is growing big!
weight: 27 pounds (off the charts)
height: 30 inches (80th percentile)
head circumferance 18 3/4 inches (93rd percentile)
He loves to eat. He can eat about triple what Abby eats. I'm glad he's not as picky as she is! He loves splashing in the bath, crawling up the stairs (haven't mastered going down though), crawling in the bathroom when the doors open, walking along the couch, clapping his hands, being sung to, did I mention eating?
We sure love having Owen in our family :)

February so far

Abby learned to go potty on the toilet! It was one of the worst weeks of my life, but we came out successful in the end :) Yipee Skippy.
Abby looks absolutely ecstatic in this picture.

Owen loves his big sister, and I think Abby likes having a playmate (f0r the most part). She dresses up as Snow White several times a day. We got her this dress for Halloween, and we've found that's it's been a wise investment.

Big O got his first haircut. He's almost 10 months old!

We flew to Utah to be apart of Kevin and Heather's wedding. They had all the little girls dress up in tutu's. So cute!

Grandpa Doug was able to join in on the festivities. Mimi was in Germany celebrating the arrival of cousin Simon.





Happy Valentines Day! We had some yummy pink heart shaped pancakes. You can't beat Grandma Jane's buttermilk pancakes - so so good!

Abby decorated some yummy V-day cookies.

We had a delicious steak dinner. Mike loves his BBQ :)

Christmas 2009 Utah Style

We had a blast in Utah for Christmas this year. Abby and Owen were thrilled to have a constant stream of cousin playing time. Here are some pics documenting our Christmas fun!

I don't know if this is really weird or not, but Abby's eye color has change since she was a baby...
She was born with blue eyes and when she was around 2 yrs old we noticed that they had completely changed color.

a little update

I flew home to utah for the holidays - here's whats been going on.

my little bro Kev proposed to his sweetheart Heather Olsen. She is darling and we are excited for them to tie the knot on Feb 5th (yeah I get to come back to Utah!)

Owen is 8 months old and weighs about 22 pounds and wears 18-24 month clothes. He also has pretty sweet hair :)

My sister Emily was very excited to give Abby her first real haircut.

We packed 5 carseats in my sisters van and drove up to Heber for some christmas sugar cookie making with cousins. I have to get me one of these!
